Wholesale and Retail Biodiesel
R3 Energy produces pure biodiesel which is then blended with one percent traditional diesel to form a 99% biodiesel based fuel known as B99. Under cold weather conditions it is highly recommended that B99 be appropriately blended with No. 1 or No. 2 diesel fuel to ensure that gelling and filter clogging (due to fuel crystallization) is avoided.
R3 Energy has done extensive product testing to ensure that our clients are well informed regarding the cold weather limitations of our renewable biofuel. Please refer to the "Temperature vs. Fuel Blend" graph to determine what blend is optimal for your working environment.
End-User Guidelines - Under Kansas law an end-user may blend their own fuel (HB 2014, 2007) without applying for a blenders permit.
Fuel Distributor Guidelines - A fuel distributor must apply for a fuel blenders permit with the state of Kansas in order to blend multiple fuel types. For clients that are not interested in doing their own blending, R3 can provide this service for you.
